The Mindrolling History Project

The Dharmashri Foundation, established by Minling Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche and Minling Jetsün Dechen Paldrön, is dedicated to preserving the most profound teachings of the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism.  Minling Jetsün Dechen Paldrön and the volunteer staff of Dharmashri have undertaken many different projects to preserve the teachings and history of the Buddhadharma.  One such project has been the Mindrolling History Project.  This project has been undertaken with great care and detail so that students may have an understanding and greater appreciation for the lineage of great masters that have practiced and preserved the profound dharma generation after generation.

Beginning with the great Nyö lineage of Tibet, down to the founding of Mindrolling Monastery and the subsequent masters who embodied the simplicity and confidence of a life of genuine dharma, the history of Mindrolling is a teaching in itself on the life of genuine practitioners who live with the fearless confidence of dharma, free of the self-importance and busyness of samsara.  The Mindrolling History project is available for download as a PDF on the Mindrolling International website.
